We’ll follow the therapy process of two particularly interesting individuals who’ve continued in the work for over 3 years each. One, a man dealing with the effects of an abusive childhood and the resulting anxiety. The other, a woman who had a fairly normal childhood, but she suffers from depression. Both have deeply struggled. Both are overcomers and accomplished professionals in their respective fields. The material will be drawn from their case notes, which includes extensive dream work. Two theories have underpinned the work: Attachment Theory and Psychodynamic.
